The symptoms of being overweight would appear to be pretty obvious – the mere fact that you are above average weight for someone of your age and height does not necessarily mean that you are overweight though. The skin is taken and folded upon itself at different points of the body and the thickness measured with a pair of callipers. The actual symptoms that are associated with obesity (other than the obvious one) depend on the cause of the condition. For example, if the condition is brought about by an under active thyroid gland, they could include lack of energy, weight gain, dry and pale skin, feeling cold all the time and depression.
