Tip 1: Ensure that you get at least 8g of fibre for breakfast
Experts recommend that women should consume 30-35g of fibre daily. However, most women don’t even get 10g! Fibre is a powerful tool as it is a bulky substance and keeps you feeling full and satisfied. It is also responsible for sending the “I am full” signals to your brain. Fibre also assists in healthy digestion and removing toxins from the body.
Fibre is key to reducing weight and if you are able to get enough fibre at breakfast, the rest of the day should be much easier! Fruit and vegetables does not have as much fibre as one would imagine and therefore you either need to obtain the fibre from a supplement, and or from fibre-rich grains.
