LOSE WEIGHT WITH A FRIEND/SPOUSE | HERBALIFE HEALTHY EATING


It has been proven time and again that if you share your goals with someone and they can keep you accountable for them, that your chance of attaining your goals quadruples. Losing weight on your own is difficult enough, you could definitely use the support of your friend / spouse.  It actually does not matter who this person is, it could be a friend, sibling, co-worker, spouse or other.  The support of your network of people is wonderful and encouraging whilst losing weight, but if you can get someone to also lose weight with you, experience the process themselves and give you an opportunity to compare notes; your is bound to be higher!

Here are a few tips on how to do this:
1. Identify your weight loss ‘buddy’.  Have a discussion around your goals, what you’d like to attain, what is possible and not possible for you and how you’d like the other person to support you.  It is also a good idea to set up times to meet with your buddy upfront and commit to keeping to these.

2.  with your friend. (This is not the time to be ashamed of your weight!) Write it down and keep track of your weight loss over time.

3. Discuss ways of healthy eating with your friend.  Decide what weight loss method or diet you are going to choose. Consider Herbalife weight management as an effective means tolose weight quickly and effectively.  You can even have a healthy focus per week: i.e. focus on drinking more water, getting more , cutting out fried food, etc.  In this way you will eventually build up a healthier lifestyle that will help sustain your weight loss.

4. Keep a food journal.  Write down what you eat during the week and share this with your buddy on a weekly basis.  Remember, it is all about staying accountable!

5. Set goals to exercise together.  Even if this is just walking for 30min, 3x a week.  Exercising with your friend is also wonderful.  Not only does it help to tone your body, it is also a stress reliever and helps you to get some quality friend time!

6. Reward and celebrate when you have attained your goals or have made progress.  Go see a movie, buy a new piece of clothing or any other reward that is in line with helping you achieve your ultimate target.

7. Remember, it is not a competition.  You are both in it to improve your , wellbeing, self-confidence, etc.  Keep faith if your buddy loses weight faster than you!
