When planning your healthy eating plan, it is important to calculate in your snacks as part of this.  This includes determining the portion of your snack and also counting it as part of your daily calories.

I was attending a presentation today and the presenter spoke about something close to my heart – balance in life.  As I was listening, I wondered what role food, and health play in my life.  If I had to ascribe a priority to it, what would it be?  Some of the other priorities could be career, recreation, spiritual growth, education, romance and intimacy, family and friends and finances.  The theory goes that we operate at our best if we sense that all these areas are in balance.
