In terms of how food works:  carbohydrates are digested into energy within a short span of time.  Therefore, when you need an energy boost, your body will need carbohydrates.  Eating a small portion of carbohydrates before exercise is useful as it will help your body to perform at its best during exercise.  Examples are a small banana, 50-100ml fruit juice, or a few sips of your Herbalife shake, or a small portion of carbohydrate rich energy drink.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of Herbalife Nutritional Shake Mix (Vanilla flavour)
